Service records
Most systems treat a repair order like a receipt — print it, file it, forget it. Shopbook treats it like a chapter in the vehicle's story: photographed, signed off, and permanent.

A live service order — the timeline, the pipeline, and the money, on one screen.
Append-only
Record entries can be added but never edited or deleted — the same property that makes a logbook trustworthy. Every entry carries who wrote it, when, and whether a customer can see it.
Why append-only matters
A record you can quietly rewrite is a record nobody has to believe. Because Shopbook entries are permanent, the history behind a vehicle is evidence, not marketing — which is exactly why it moves resale value. Disputes end at the timeline: what was found, what was approved, what was done, in order, with photos.
Provenance
Every vehicle gets a shareable provenance page — the documented work, the invested total, the photo gallery. Owners send it to buyers; buyers see a car with receipts.
